The Eagle Times

This week the Eagles play host to Livonia High School. This will be the first game of district play for the St John Eagles. The Eagles are looking to sweep the district once more, just like they did last year by going 4-0 is district play. The Eagles have finished at the top of every district they have been in over the years. So, I’m looking for them to first sweep the distict and sweep the playoff games as well.

The St. John Eagles are coming off a big win over Kentwood last Thursday night. They really impressed a lot of people by securing a win over Kentwood. This was not an easy task, but they played hard and came out with a victory. They are hoping for a lot more of victories this season and hope to start earning respect from around the State. By defeating the Kentwood Kangaroos last week the Eagles showed the State that they can play with the best of them and beat them as well.

I think the Eagles are coming around as a team after they beat Kentwood. I believe the Kentwood game was the turning point of their season as a team. There were alot of people that were expecting the eagles to do bad this year, but they are proven wrong week after week. The writers are now saying that the St. John eagle are for real and they feel like the Eagles can compete for a State Title, just like they did last year. I’m looking forward to see how far the Eagles can go in the Playoff this year.

All right Eagles fans, the game this week is at Plaquemine High School at 7p.m., and the Eagles are looking forward to seeing you there. The Eagles are trying to push their record to 6-1, and get higher in the State Ranking this week. This game will play a key role in how far the Eagles go in the Playoffs. So come out and support your Eagles and have a good time at the game. Go Eagles!!!!!
