There isn’t much to do this weekend. The seniors are going out of town this weekend on senior retreat. Seniors also go on career day this Wednesday, which is a college fair. It is from 9-11 a.m. at the Plaquemine Civic Center. There is a football game on Friday. St. John plays U-High. LSU plays Middle Tennessee on Saturday at home. Football games are fun to attend, but they are also fun to just watch on TV with your friends.

The history of tailgating started back in 1976, with Buckeye-Annie and Bob. The original food for tailgating was chips with onion dip. Back in the day, tailgating also included 151 Rum, Coke, and beer. The modern tailgaters include the ones at college football games and high school kids at their high school football games. Today most tailgaters meet early before the game and start to cook and drink, untimely looking to have a good time.
