Things to Do August 28, 2007

It’s Friday afternoon, and the seventh period bell is about to ring. Everyone is excited about the weekend, at the end of a long hard week of intense learning. As the bell rings, you wonder what you will do over the weekend. You are standing around with all of your friends outside of school and you wonder where you will go for the night.
What you do on the weekends depends on what you like, and whether or not you can drive. Transportation is the key factor in life. If you can’t drive, you either find a ride with an older friend, or get your parents to drive you. If you can drive, the possibilities are endless.
Many teens enjoy things like going to the movies, going bowling, and going to the mall. The movies are normally not a good decision if you can’t drive, but you and your friends could always rent a movie and watch it at home. Bowling is fun with a group of people. It doesn’t matter how good you are; it’s just fun to be out with your friends laughing and having a good time. If you go galactic bowling, you can dance with your friends at the bowling alley. The bowling alley also serves food and drinks. Going to the mall is also an option on the things to do list. It is not one of my personal favorites, but many girls enjoy shopping and walking around the mall.
There are many different things to do at different times of the year. During the fall, attending football games is the enjoyable thing to do. During the winter, basketball games are the entertaining thing to do. During the spring baseball and softball are the fun things to attend. There is always something to do; it is up to you to go and do it.
